A slower pace

Sunflower Cottage is a lovely base for you to explore the beautiful village of McGregor, its history and the surrounding wine lands - or to simply retreat and immerse yourself in the feeling of a bygone era, where time moves more slowly. The garden surrounding the cottage is tranquil and peaceful. Listen to the birds and cicadas or explore the many hikes and nature reserves surrounding the village.

Explore McGregor

McGregor is a quaint, tranquil Karoo Dorpie with stunning views. Old irrigation channels still transport water down the sides of the streets lined with whitewashed cottages. There are some excellent restaurants for Karoo cooking and home made treats. Explore the art walk of local galleries and potters. Visit the beautiful retreat center. Listen to live music or visit the Saturday village market.
